Affiliate and advertising disclosure
Effective date: October 22, 2026 · Last updated: October 22, 2026
Label Ledger is free to use and is funded by display advertising and affiliate links. This page explains both, and the rules that keep them away from recall information.
Affiliate links
As an Amazon Associate, InfoHub Digital LLC earns from qualifying purchases. Some pages contain links to Amazon; if you follow one and make a purchase, the Site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate links on Label Ledger follow fixed rules:
- They point to a general product category (for example, "car seats" or "space heaters"), never to a specific product, and never to a recalled product.
- They never appear inside the "what to do now" instructions or the identifier table on a recall page.
- A link's presence is not a recommendation or an endorsement of any product, brand or retailer, and no product on Label Ledger is described as safe.
- Pages with affiliate links show a short disclosure before the first link.
Advertising
Display ads are served by Google AdSense. Advertisers do not choose which recalls are covered, cannot pay to change or remove a page, and have no influence over what any page says. Ads never appear above or inside the "what to do now" box or the identifier table on a recall page. Ad categories for legal services and pharmaceuticals are blocked by default. How ads use cookies is described in theprivacy policy.
No paid placement
No company pays to appear on Label Ledger, to be ranked, or to be removed. There are no sponsored placements, no lead generation, and no sale of data.
